Eurocham here in Cambodia came together several years ago with the French chamber, German Chamber, and British Chamber as founding members. Since then, the French Chamber pretty much fully integrated, and their sole remaining function seems to be to host the Bastille Day party, and the German chamber doesn't seem to do much either outside of very specific German functions. Britcham, on the other hand, still functions more or less out of the embassy and in partnership with the since created British Department of International Trade.
In the past year the Italian Chamber and the Nordic Chamber have popped up. Now, there's the founding of the BENELUX (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg) chapter.
Is this all just a metaphor for Europe, with France and Germany well integrated and all of the other smaller economies branching out on their own? What's next, the Austro-Hungarian Chamber?
Eurocham disintegrating?

That has got to be a hard thing to run here, just look at the EU with the translation mayhem going on and the Brexit. I guess leave it to the Belgians to keep it running with some proper beer imports. The Brits should just join up with the Australians and do the 'CommonwealthCham' or the like. Just thinking loud here.
