Reasons to be wary of buying a high-rise condo unit

Queries related to building and decorating and whatever else the married dudes are up to, as well as all the repetitive questions about "Where can I find a nice air conditioned apartment in a good location for $75 a month?"

Reasons to be wary of buying a high-rise condo unit

This video is from the same guy who ranted about China's "moral crisis" on youtube, but this one from 2016 is about why not to buy a high-rise condo unit in China. It's surely not a 100% direct comparison to the Cambodia housing market for several key reasons, but I believe many of the points he makes are completely relevant to the relatively recent high-rise condo building boom in the major Cambodian cities, especially the possible lack of stongly managed condo association who collects monthly maintenance fees and enforces upkeep of the common building areas.

If anyone here has experience in owning and living in a high-rise condo unit in Cambodia I'd like to hear their experiences with the issues mentioned in the video for comparison.
