Accomodation in P.P.
Accomodation in P.P.
Hi, Momoney is flying into P.P. Wednesdayfor a week stay and want to ask about accomodation near Central Market. I have some business to take care of there at the market. A few days stay at least where I could just walk to the market thrice a day. Hotel or guest house 10-25$ range. I have stayed at Scandic before it was sold, too far. The lake is out. Usually stay at the Paragon on the river. Or open to suggestion of any place at the moment. Guesthouse, hotel, or bar with rooms. Thanks in advance. p.s. Anyone know if Nohgoot is back from India or wherever he was studying?
You could try La Pailotte (spelling?) which is right opposite the market on the corner of st130, from memory....Not a real flash hotel but is has what you're after in price and location. I've stayed there before and survived.momoney wrote:Hi, Momoney is flying into P.P. Wednesdayfor a week stay and want to ask about accomodation near Central Market. Thanks to all who replied. Nordic may be good for me. Met the owner at the Jungle a few months ago. He said the rooms were nice. It's the one next to Bogart bar and rooms as I remember? Had a good steak sandwich there. I've also heard the food was pretty good at the Nordic......
Still haven't decided but still open to any interesting places to stay at the river or elsewhere, anyone for beers tomorrow sunset at Jungle or? Mo
I stayed at the Billibong for a couple of days back in Aug. The rooms did seem new and were very nice, as was the staff. Got to go swimming everyday with poolside beers. That's hard to beat. I think it was about $35 or so a night, a little above what you mentioned, but very worth it I'd say.
