Just a short question to all the riders out there:
Any advise, trick, maybe household items to clean your helmet windshield and achieve maximum visibility during rain? To make the raindrops flow away nicely?
Thank you for answers!

If you don't wear glasses, raise the visor in the rain, especially at night. Even very good full-face helmets reduce visibility, and with a million plus kamikaze drivers around, you need visibility at max.
Better wet than dead.
An angular visor (closer to V-shape) will clear rain better than a hemispherical one. Most motorcross helmets are more angular than the normal street bike helmets.

Remove visor from helmet.Wash the visor with soapy water. Let it dry.
Use Lemon Pledge and a micro fibre cloth on visor. Pledge a wonderful product with similar properties to expensive car polish.Car groomers swear by the stuff.I've used it for 35years. Uncle Google will agree.

Look for a place with a roof and and an orange box. Stop and drink a couple of beers until rain stops.

Short of finding a pair of these:
I've found this much more effective than trying to deal with a watery visorvladimir wrote: raise the visor in the rain
I lower the visor enough to keep rain away but not enough to block my view. No way putting visor all the way down, it blocks the view too much.
Not sure pedros had the best idea. If it is raining and dangerous make sure you get drunk before driving again?

Well, raise the visor wouldn't help, cause I wear glasses, so I'd just have the same problem a little closer to my eyes. Normally I close the visor full or half at low speed. Today morning, however, the rain was that strong that I stopped driving until it calmed down. I think it was waterfalling, there weren't falling drops anymore, there were rising air bubbles! Couldn't see much anymore. I didn't stop because of me unable to see, though. I stopped in fear of khmer riders unable to see! Made me late for work but I'm alive, ha!
