Electric bicycle

Whether you've got a Tico or a Lexus, a Dailim or a Harley, this is the forum to discuss transport in Cambodia. Where to buy it, how much to pay and what to do when the wheels fall off.

Electric bicycle

Hey, has anyone bought or ridden an electric bicycle? I saw some at a place near the Olympic stadium. Would they last long? They seemed pretty cheap at $350 or thereabouts.

In my experience, these chinese electric suicide machines aren't fun to drive, they're dangerous and they don't last long.

My mate wants to buy an electric bike on Perth.I have just looked at websites here and the bikes look good.
About $1800 for a good one.
I like the look of the folding ones, german design and with lithium batteries about $2200.
This is a great place for electric bikes with lots of bike paths.
One big shop at freo will rent one for $40 for two hours,I might go down and have a ride up the coast on Sunday morning with a tropical 22 degrees forecast.

I'm sure a Honda step through electric bike is about $400 new. No need for license or helmet as well.
