Whether you've got a Tico or a Lexus, a Dailim or a Harley, this is the forum to discuss transport in Cambodia. Where to buy it, how much to pay and what to do when the wheels fall off.

This a typical case of ugly as fuck but still really sexy. Those stickers on the dash are a crime though.

Actually, now that I think about it, my 1250S was less than half that price. Sure, no fancy exhaust, but still, much more adapted to Cambodia.

There are times that I miss my ZZR 1100 from back home; then I come to my senses and realise that i) it is totally impractical for Cambodia, and ii) that I would kill myself on it here inside a week !

Back home, it was a fantastic bike, but limited by stupid laws. Here it would be a stupid bike, limited by the physical conditions of the roads here.

Get yourself a nice sports tourer. The problem with all these high performance machines in Cambodia are that they drink so much, they put you in an uncomfortable position, and to get some oohmf out of them, you need to really rev them. My Bandit is nimble enough to handle rush hours, it pulls strongly at just 2500 rpm, doesn't drink much more than an old 250cc and is really comfortable. Of course, you won't be able to drive @ 250 km/h, but even a slow cruise to Kep is a joy on these machines. Took my woman to the beach the other day, she loved it.
