I saw that earlier posted by a local friend and couldn't figure out what the hell it was about, but that appears to be a UK registration plate on both the car and the transporter?
Edit, seems like it's the UK police destroying a seized car. I'm not sure what the thought process is behind such wastage:
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

1.8L engine actually, on a body that weighed less than 800Kg built by Karmann - not girlie at all.YaTingPom wrote:“No tax, we’ll crush it”
Pretty simple statement.
Also, wasn’t the CTI considered a girls car and only came with the 1.6 engine and was heavier?
I had a VW Rabbit convertible in Cali. Great car but too bloody hot with the top down!
Plus, me driving it around London, not Cali ... never too hot

It is 90kg heavier than a GTI though. I drove one years ago and it didn’t have the same poke of an equivalent GTI. Great car though and very rare now.Playboy wrote:1.8L engine actually, on a body that weighed less than 800Kg built by Karmann - not girlie at all.YaTingPom wrote:“No tax, we’ll crush it”

The current Golf GTI is a hoot. The Golf R is a proper performance car. I drove both with a view to buying last year - can’t really fault either. The interiors feel just as high quality as an Audi, too.
I just wish they’d still put 6 cylinders in compact packages - it’s one of my favourite vehicle configurations. Even modern blown fours can be a bit laggy.

Haha - my money’s on Playboy
I had this exact car in Canada before I moved out here, one of the funnest cars I have ever driven, crazy quick.

^ I believe that the majority of the investment in the new showroom and service centre had already been made when they simultaneously made every expat in the whole organisation redundant.
