Anyone know what became of Keeping_it_Riel's Vespa?
I think it was a 1969 Vespa Sprint 150cc. I used to fiend for that thing as I saw it quietly gathering dust in NWI's parking garage.
I'm newly flush after a Great Aunt of mine recently passed away and left me some shares of Apple and I'd like to source this Vespa or something of similar make / model / vintage.

There is a vespa shop that rebuilds old ones. They normally have a nice selection at good prices.

I hired a new Vespa (2013) and it was a piece of shit, Reminded me of a Chinese piece of shit, which is probably where it is made.
Still, I managed to scrape the side stand (in the up postion) whilst going around corners so not all bad.
But then I am HARDCORE!

There are tons of classic vespas in vietnam and companies who restore them but you should order a with complete new engine and go there to see for yourself. Only deal with reliable dealers as there are many bad restorations. I have used this company before http://scootrs.com

Alright Felg, this sounds promising. Now I've already performed a tactical I/E on your compound and left 2 coconut halves on your balcony.Felgerkarb wrote:There is a vespa shop that rebuilds old ones. They normally have a nice selection at good prices.
I'll be rendezvousing back your way at approximately 22:47, at which time you are to unleash some wicked Morse code action detailing the name and coordinates of this 'vespa shop'.
After which I'll be encamped at Alchemy delicately sipping some grain alcohol and rain water should you be so inclined.
D'oh... And?Felgerkarb wrote:There is a vespa shop that rebuilds old ones. They normally have a nice selection at good prices.
