Car Theft
Probably because motos are easier to steal and get away on, and are easier to shift.
I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.

Also, maybe that the rich don't need to steal little things like cars anymore. Even at 200 grand a pop there' maybe bigger and juicier fruit around now? Land, sand, wood etc. I was hoping someone had some solid information on the topic.
How about China? Much car theft over there? Or is that way to die number 76?
The majority of Cambodians can't drive cars (yes I know that's obvious) so will struggle to make a quick exit and getaway.
Plus unlike motos most cars have alarms that scare a would be thief away and are beyond most Cambodians technical nickery knowledge.

Remember when an official from the Australian embassy was stolen her car ?
Coppers called her a couple of days later to retrieve it. The two thiefs blood was still on the seats...
I was once myself stolen a company car by a disgruntled staff. A couple of calls to his mother by the gendarmes explainning that judges hate car thieves and it was waiting for us at a car wash in SR.
