Old Rolls Royce
Hey guys,
I have an old Rolls Royce (1984) in my possession here. The engine turns over fine, but it hasn't been driven in several years. I would like to get it back on the road.
I know that I will probably need to replace the brake lines, tires, and maybe the breaks themselves? Is there anything else that I should check on?
Also, does anyone know who/where I may contact for some assistance on this?
Thank you!
Cheers,
CM

How old is it? Pre- 1970?
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Holy shit that's fucking cool!
Message Akira.
I'd come up to help.
Cool!
(But a money pit)

I was on my phone when I posted that so didn't notice it's a 1984 model. I thought it might have had some historical value.Lucky Lucan wrote:How old is it? Pre- 1970?
Good luck getting that road-worthy without spending way above its value.

Before people toss a pokeball out to catch me if you can, I'm going to say my experience/knowledge with older (pre-BMW days) Rolls Royce is limited to driving a 6 3/4 litre Corniche for 10 minutes.
All I can say is that you'll have to import pretty much everything to fix it and whoever is working on it, follow a set of youtube videos. That is, unless you swap a Toyota diesel into it to "very save gas".

I'm assuming it's the brown/beige one often seen parked/abandoned(?) on st. 422? Don't recall ever seeing another Roller that early here. I have just witnessed a purple/white Wraith parked on st.360 (Uratei BBQ) ... stunning & a must have for any serious Joker wannabe!

Cool guys, thanks for the comments.
I know there's Rolls Royce Motors... but, you know, if I can avoid them, I would like to.
I would love Akira's advice. Even if you don't know the specifics on this car, what would be your advice on a car that hasn't been driven for a few years?
YTP, if you have interest and knowledge, would love a hand!
I'll take some pics next week when I'm back in town and try to post.
You haven't seen it on the street, it's been in our garage for years. It's a single owner car imported years ago, for what it's worth.
Cheers,
CM

My posts are just jokes, maybe they're rude, offensive, and politically incorrect. They're not my opinion, viewpoint, idea, or judgement, but they're just fucking jokes so lighten up.
