Husqvarna Enduro
Pretty pointless for offroading mainly used for those Red Bull comps or rock climbing. Plus they've no seat FFS!ricecakes wrote:I'd like a Gas Gas

Yeah the Huskies are basically KTM 6 Days. Linkage, anodized triple clamps, radiator fan, a bit more bling etc. It's still weird to sell both bikes here imo.offroadscholar wrote:Those prices seem reasonable for Cambodia.LexusSchmexus wrote:The Husky shop has moved in with the KTM shop on Norodom. I was there maybe two weeks ago. They still have a 16 250 (~8600), and have a few 17 models. I can't remember which ones though. The 450 will set you back 12 500 and a 350 a bit less (11 000 if I recall).
Are KTM 350-450 exc's priced the same ? Pretty much the same bike as the Husky except for PDS vs linkage suspension....afaik.
Gasgas... Why would you want to buy a bike from a company that almost went under not long ago? For what it's worth, Beta has been available in Cambodia for a while now. 2-stroke and 4-stroke models: 250rr/300rr, 350 and 390rr models. I've ridden one, nice bikes. There's increasing competition in the local bike market (I've even heard a rumour about a guy who's going to import big Yammies), while the number of trails is decreasing, which is kind of ironic.
If that's the unwritten rule for buying then no one would have bought Triumph, Norton, Vincent, Moto Guzzi, Benelli, Indian etc etc!LexusSchmexus wrote:

Not storefront shop, but definitely an official dealer, taxes fully paid and bikes are ready for registration. He's sold around 4-5 already. Check out MX Cambodia on Facebook.

I do think it's weird myself, but he doesn't really need to advertise as most in the "community" know about him, so it's not like he's struggling to find buyers or spread the word.
