Hi petrolheads - any idea where to find a 100/90 x 17 tyre for a motorbike? Scouring a few small shops it seems they only have the standard Honda/Suzuki sizes of 2.75 - 17 - that's great for my front tyre, but the rear should be the 100/90 (Bajaj Pulsar 135).
Similarly if anyone knows where to source a new air filter for the same bike type, would be much appreciated - the current one looks more like a disintegrated sponge!

Obvious response is one of the Bajaj service centre.
There is one on 217 and another on Preah Sihanouk Boulevard.
Are you trying to stay away from the official service centre? My local jeing has been able to source parts for my Bajaj, he never has them in stock but sends his boy off to O’Russey to buy them.

Haven't tried the place on Sihanouk, thought it was sales only - I'll give it a go thanks.

There is a small service centre attached to it just round the corner. They don’t always have parts but can order them.Spigzy wrote:Haven't tried the place on Sihanouk, thought it was sales only - I'll give it a go thanks.
Thanks Stinkyfart, well worth the trip - went for tyres & air filter and the dude took the whole bike apart and fixed countless other niggles top to bottom. Knew his stuff inside out, expected I guess at the service centre for that manufacturer, but good friendly staff, good mechanics, and the price was perfectly reasonable - left a decent tip for the mechanic; another one those useless drongos at Topaz won't be getting - but that's another thread!

Yeah it is reasonable, when I went I was expecting a heftier price given that it is the official service centre. I’d probably go there every time if it was more convenient to my house.Spigzy wrote:Thanks Stinkyfart, well worth the trip - went for tyres & air filter and the dude took the whole bike apart and fixed countless other niggles top to bottom.
