Yes, as I said earlier in the post, I always take tuk tuks now because I hate driving cars in start/stop mode all the time around town, and it uses at least twice as much fuel. Though to be honest, I spend more on tuk tuks than I did on fuel for the car.
I'm just gonna wait a decade or so till i can afford an Aston Martin.

I live in Toul Kork and drive to work 6 days a week to BKK 1. Add in driving Mrs C to the shops etc and I drive around 100 to 120km a week. Fuel (petrol - 2.6l 4cyl) costs for one week average out at about $25, it doesn't use much oil, and repairs and servicing since I bought it have been minor and total less than $70.
So,
1 week PP driving = avg of 110km and avg of $25 fuel.
1 way trip to Kep = 180km and at best $20 fuel.
K, go see the Frenchman. I heard that he was getting one in in black. Price around $2400 as is (neg), maybe a little more after his attentions.
Mark, it's 22 years old and has a whining diff and a little body rot, but it's still going like a train.

your car isn't an economy CAR but a lawnmower with a steering wheel and seats. I get better than 30mpg with a good sized 4 wheel drive suv loaded with adults and their gear. The sportage diesel I believe gets nearly the mileage you get in your car. Both these SUVS do better than a Camry. (which truly is a tiny economy car). Another suggest is for ranger https://otos.vn/ban-xe-ford-ranger. you can check it.
