I'm not frightened of Aeon, it's simply a {little} little provincial shopping precinct, it is not gonna eat you up

And even if they allow you to unbox it.

You still can't use it 99% of the time, since most laptops bought new will boot from an image on the SSD / hard drive and the machine will ask some questions (computer name, username, password, etc) and install Windows and bloatware accordingly. Only the stupidest seller will allow you to enter this info into the machine.

Best is to browse the web for reviews (I like the site notebookcheck.com a lot, esp. the extensive reviews where they measure the screen too) and then make your purchase. Good luck with the hunt.

Thank you Kachang for your suggestion. Would you please suggest me a laptop under $150.

Try V-Tech on Kampuchea Krom

Under $200 will probably only get you an 11" screen (second-hand)

This one is $249

$300 will get you a 15-17 inch screen, Acer/ASUS
