He does bare all the hallmarks of a Khmer twat. Killer comb-over, Asian wife-beater t-shirt, red face from excessive Black Panther consumption. All he needs is the fake gold Rado watch with a picture of the big man on it's face and he would have the full set. What are the odds that he drives a 1992 4Runner and has a short, fat arsed girlfriend called Srey Mom at the local beer garden?
Anyway he definitely looks like he needs to be lumped on the side of the head with a cricket bat.

I like the comment about her husband's family being a group of thieves who steal things from tourists on the beach. Did she marry her tuk tuk driver or something?

LOL, obviously the cop is squeaky-clean, the SUV on his pay is the result of his wife being good at business.
I bet the Australian embassy are happy about this.
Maybe the embassy can organise, a trade-off, Australia send one refugee here, and Cambodia sends one Australian sheila back?
Actually, I think the best solution would be the one suggested in the paper, they just forgive each other.

It doesn't say SUV, it just says car, and there's nothing in the article about his pay or money or business.vladimir wrote:LOL, obviously the cop is squeaky-clean, the SUV on his pay is the result of his wife being good at business.

Yes, you're right.
He was telling the truth, the boyfriend and his family are all thieves.
The balance of probabilities weigh in favour of a high-ranking, aggressive policeman being poor and driving a Tico.
Sorry for my mistake.

It sounds to me like the cop is jealous of the Khmer boyfriend.

Obviously, every effort must be made to accommodate the kings of the concrete jungle. Let's just hope this guy didn't have the audacity to try this in anything less than a late model LX 570. He'd be completely out of line with this type of behavior in an old RX 330, for example. Or, god forbid, some shitty sedan like a Camry. Must withhold judgement until the relevant facts are known.

Someone told me today about another accident in SNV. Apparently an old wealthy Khmer with connection, who had been living in France for many years, was riding a moto with his French wife on board when he ran into and killed(?) a family of 3 inc a baby on their moto. In the ensuing panic he then ran across the road and through a window where a family of 4 Khmer were watching, injuring them all enough to be sent to hospital in an ambulance.
Not sure if its true as it happened at around the same date but in a diff location somewhere on Ekareach St. Surely not?
Would it have been reported? Or would a team have been sent in to clean up the phone evidence etc?

It sounds a bit like the story of the French/Khmer Mr Magoo.SCC wrote:Someone told me today about another accident in SNV.
