Slave Trade on CNNA certain high-ranking policeman (commissioner) and his sister, who runs an employment agency didn't get very complimentary coverage on CNN tonight.Obviously they didn't check their facts and made outrageous claims.
People who steal from banks get jail. Banks who steal from people get bonuses. You gotta love capitalism!

Referring to the series mentioned in the Malaysia thread. Seems the Phnom Penh agency was recruiting young girls, getting them fake passports then sending them off into debt bondage in Malaysian factories where they were earning far less than promised and their passports taken from them. Merge? The complicity of parents/ relatives in these cases, even when they know what might await the girls, should not be played down. People who steal from banks get jail. Banks who steal from people get bonuses. You gotta love capitalism!
