That was my first thought. How awful that anyone could ever contemplate taking their own life.
Poor chap. Surely it can't be a push or a trip, can it? Condolences.
I was sad because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet
I can't see how. There really isn't much of a reason for a foreigner to be up on the 5th floor anyway. Roller skating?
But it's also not an expected place for suicide jump, because there's a good chance of not dying from that height. It really has to be a swan dive.
Lastly, it's a totally selfish dick move to jump from there because you could easily land on someone.
This is a very 'Pattaya expat' way to go.
I guess as more Pattaya types more here, we'll be seeing more unfortunate incidents of this nature.
Here's a non-gory photo from FB, which might help someone identify the guy:
Middle aged dude in a red wifebeater and camo shorts.
Straight from Pattaya expat central casting.
Plus the grey hair very definitely confirms it is not Ian. Thank Christ.
Identified as "Tenne Binjamin", 57 years old from Israel.

To be honest, they'd be doing exactly the same if it was a fellow Khmer on the deck.
