Oh Buddha! What is our Karma! A Husband & Wife Quarrel, a Knife is Thrown It Lands Squarely in the Head of a Man Bailing Water from His Boat
Kampong Cham: : A shocking event occurred that may give you goosebumps. A flying cleaver tossed out from a house landed deeply in the head of a man who was sitting by the river bailing water from his boat, injuring him seriously and requiring that he was taken to Kampong Cham hospital.
The police have informed that before the incident a husband and wife who live near to the house of the victim were involved in a violent domestic dispute. It was seen that the husband had taken a cleaver with the intention to mince (his wife's?his?) clothes. At this moment the wife snatched the cleaver from her husband but it slipped and flew towards the river and landed in the head of the casualty who was sitting bailing water from his boat. He was seriously injured and quickly taken to hospital.
The suspect is a 30 year old woman who has a husband who is 30 years old. As for the victim he is 29. The victim and the female suspect are cousins and have houses near to each other in the village.
The female suspect has been temporarily detained in the police station of Kampong Siem so as to fully complete the case file in accordance with legislative procedure.
Other unlucky accident was in the outskirts of Phnom Penh; a microwave antenna fell off of its tower whilst technicians were working on it, and it dropped onto and killed an old security man who guarded the tower:

Dear me, that's some random freaky stuff. I hope the guy manages to get that chopper taken out without serious complications. RIP security man.

The head injury guy looks hopeful. I saw the story earlier but it didn't have all the details you have given, Rama. Really very unfortunate about the antennae guy.

Talk about a dropped signal. Poor guy got squelched. I hope those antennas don't start falling with more frequency.

The victim has had the cleaver removed from his skull successfully. He was transferred from Kampong Cham hospital to Calmette and the doctors there managed to remove the knife. Fortunately, it hadn't penetrated the brain.
The female suspect is still in custody.

It seems a little bit harsh to detain her. She took the knife off of her husband who was in a rage and "mincing" clothes, and sensibly she threw the knife out of a window with the intention of sinking it in the river. Unfortunately it sunk into her neighbour's head and now she's in custody.

Never a dull moment in Cambodia.
Looking at his pic you could see the guy has a thick skull. I'm just surprised nobody tried tiger balm yet.
