Phnom Penh: A drunken man driving from a karaoke speeded towards a curve in the road. The car went through the wall of Oknha Hun Sen Primary School, Hun Neang Boeung Trabek primary school.
The accident occurred at 02:40 am on Tuesday, December 21, 2017, at 430 at St. 512 in Phsar Deum Thkov, Chamkar Mon district, Phnom Penh.
The source said that before the scene, a sound like a thunderstorm was heard as the vehicle collided into the front of the school, and after the driver ran way, leaving the car at the scene.
A motorcycle taxi driver said that before the incident, he had seen a car coming out of the karaoke and speeding up until it hit the wall.
After the incident, the cops came down to the scene, surveying and taking the car to the Chamkaran Police Inspectorate, waiting for the car owner to come to a legal settlement.

This reminds me of The unfortunate life of a Khmer road divider thread.
Speaking of that, the road divider on Sihanouk by the junction with 51 looks right fucked up, knocked over and out of place by at least 15 cm. Was there a bad crash there a week or two ago?

Kampong Chhnang: Due to the lack of caution behind the wheel, a heavy vehicle hit a mango tree and the wall of the Department of Culture and Fine Arts, causing damage. The driver only suffered minor injuries and didn't run away. This happened at 5:10 am on December 21, 2017, in front of Kampong Chhnang Provincial Hall, located in Village 1, Sangkat Silom City.

Banteay Meanchey: A vehicle crashed into villagers' houses but luckily nobody was injured. This incident shocked the village of Banteay II, Orsampor Commune, Malai District, on December 27, 2017.
A black Toyota Laiwigo, Number Plate Phnom Penh 2F-7622 was being driven by a 28 year old male, living in Thmor Pich commune, Tbaung Khmom district, Tbong Khmum province.
According to the source, the car first drove from the east to the west, when the accident occurred, crashed into the home of Khim Khorn, 42 and his wife, Chum Rith, 38.
However, the case of the accident did not cause any injuries. The driver claims that a problem with the vehicle caused the accident.
After the incident, the cops came down to the scene to measure and record.

Phnom Penh: A drunken man in a luxury sedan, with an RCAF license plate crashed at 9.30pm on the night of January 9, near Stung Meanchey pagoda, Street 271, Sangkat Stoeung Meanchey, Khan Mean Chey.
According to the source, the driver is about 50 years old. He traveled along Street 217 (actual Khmer words) in a hurricane, at high speed and in a drunken state. As the road split, the car crashed onto the central road divider. Front damage was caused and both airbag bursts, but fortunately, there is no injury to driver or pedestrians.
He added that after the accident, the driver of his car drove back down the road, but the car could not move very far. After this attempt, the driver drove took his own clothes from the car and got in another car to escape and disappeared. After the incident, the vehicle was to the Traffic Police Office of Phnom Penh. The driver is being sought to try to resolve the matter.
