Phnom Penh: Former RFA editorial correspondent was arrested by Meanchey District Police Force led by Mr. Pich Keon Mony Khan and sent to the Phnom Penh Police Commissioner, on suspicion that he had illegally installed a radio unit to disseminate information illegally.

The former RFA employee who was detained above was Oung Chhin, currently residing at House 92, Street 18, Trapaing Thleng Village, Sangkat Chom Chao, Khan Por Senchey, Phnom Penh. .
In front of the coalition forces, Oung Chhin responded that he rented the hotel room to open a karaoke studio and record videos for wedding and fun events. He stated his intentions were only for family entertainment and not to target anything else.
