Every "skybar" I have ever been to in Asia - except Banyan's Vertigo - has generally fucking sucked. Pay top dollar to suck in the rising traffic fumes.
Also, the higher the bar, the slower the service.
Years ago , what is now a spa on the corner opposite Larry's, there used to be a bar with a roof top, the first I believe, anyway, if you went up to the roof top , you would have to wait for the waitress to come up the six flights of stairs, take your order, go back down to the bar on the ground floor, get the drink and come back up. It was a gruelling experience and often involved a half an hour wait for a drink. The place lasted less than six months.
