The victim suffered severe burns. Police from the provincial police commission in collaboration with police of Poi Pet town and city police are undertaking a forensic examination to find out why. However, authorities have now found an empty bottle of kerosene, which everyone suspected of being used to burn himself. .
The owner of the propertytold the court that the victim had just stayed in the room in the afternoon of April 8, 2018. Cops suspect suicide (self incineration), but do not know why. The owner told us that on the night of April 8, 2018, the victim had taken his iPad to be sold, but was told that the shop would not buy it.
The victim then requested a Wi-Fi number to open the Internet. He went out late in the evening, and come back at 4:00 am, after which the flames were spotted in the building on a security camera. The police said that after collecting the remains, the body was placed in Bali Lei Pagoda in Kbal Spean 2 Village, Poipet Town to wait for relatives

Killing yourself by burning yourself? Seems pretty unlikely to me. Unless you make yourself unconscious I don't think you can control yourself while on fire and just 'sit it out'.
