You are like a 12 year old boasting in a schoolyard. And the above poster is right - you don’t understand boundaries, posting pics of dead kids isn’t on.

Haha - my money’s on Playboy
Snakes don't kill people.
Bites from snakes kill people.
Snakes are perfectly safe when in the right hands.

You’re an idiot chicken.

Thank goodness the chicken always tells us what he was drinking at various instances in his past, or else how would we know? And that wouldn't do.

Well spotted. The body isn't the same shape but that's just one example, and the coloring and characteristics can vary a lot even within a subspecies. The one in the photos looks almost black/ melanic so it's hard to tell, plus the head is crushed and blurred.spitthedog wrote:Coloring and the short stubby body are not the same no?Lucky Lucan wrote:My guess is an Indo-Malayan mountain pit viper (Ovophis monticola Convicta).the chicken wrote:What kind of snake is this?

I think it's an Indochinese spitting cobra:

Was looking for the distinctive cobra hood or markings.
From wiki about the Indochinese cobra; 'The hood mark can be spectacle-shaped, irregular or missing altogether, especially in adults'
Indochinese cobra sounds about right.

Yeah, i think that's an ID. It's head looks cobra'ish with the body going bump like where it meets the flat head. Whereas the vipers have an arrow shaped head.
Whenever i go for a piss in the bushes i'm always thinking about those pit vipers as they just dont move until you step on them. I think khmer's call them the ''land mine snake''. At least a cobra might give you a warning.
RIP
