Can someone who uses Twitter get it?

Due to be released ‘tomorrow morning in Phnom Penh’.
I don’t know if that means it will be released in PP or realised tomorrow morning PP time.
I presumed it would be released digitally - it would be brave/stupid to hold an event to release it.

Presumably being based in Bangkok he means morning ICT. Will keep an eye on the twitters and post a link when I see it.

Out of 5, 2 are my neighbors in one of my property and a third sold me the land on which we built our home
To avoid casting any doubt regarding my apolitical views I should add that by pure chance I also bought something from Ieng Sary while he was still free.

Phil Robertson is the Deputy Asia Director for Human Rights watch.
His twitter feed reads like sensational garbage. Every country in ASEAN (except for Thailand it appears) is among the “world’s worst” or “world’s most repressive” states. “Vietnam is the most repressive”, “also Pdr is the most..”, “Cambodian and Myanmar courts are world’s worst”, “Malaysian such and such is among the world’s worst.”
Now he’s hyping up a report? 8 AM Thursday, be ready!
He may indeed have a lot of valid points and arguments, but it all seems a bit click-baity to me. Is ASEAN the bastion of Liberal Democracy? Of course not. But I don’t think he gets what a truly repressive state would be, and I find it hard to respect someone’s point of views that are clearly so one-dimensional.
Also he calls on the Australian government to help #FreeRicketson. So that shows how insightful he is.

How much longer will #Australia PM @TurnbullMalcolm & FM @JulieBishopMP allow this travesty of justice to continue in #Cambodia? Time to free James #Ricketson now! phnompenhpost.com/national/capit… @hrw #Canberra #PhnomPenh

Ricketson is a tit and a nuisance of the highest order but that doesn’t mean he should be locked up. Kicked out of the country maybe but locked up???Miguelito wrote:

It’s entirely appropriate for a HR organisation to advocate on his behalf - IMO
Migs do you really think JR is guilty of the charges levied against him?

I haven't read past the first line, however just that prompts me to write.
It seems to me that Cambodia is not alone in its 'human rights free fall'. The USA, Russia, North Korea, and Australia all have foregone internatiinally pre-agreed human rights in order to achieve their goals of stopping illegal immigrants or ensuring control of citizens (and maintaining a grip on political power), for example.

Haven’t gotten past summary but do they cite sources somewhere? I’m primarily interested in this presented as facts: “in May 2018 the owners of the Phnom Penh Post were coerced by the government into selling the paper to a Malaysian company with ties to Hun Sen“. Anyone seen any evidence?

I think that it's a bit sensational to try and call out Australia's PM and FM on this "travesty of justice". The ambassador already responded pretty straight forwardly what their position is on that issue.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote:Ricketson is a tit and a nuisance of the highest order but that doesn’t mean he should be locked up. I'll reserve my judgement on his guilt; something that Robertson does not do. He calls for Ricketson's immediate release. That is interesting as Ricketson is now the one holding up the trial, for no clear reason (and doesn't even show up to court with a translator).

Maybe this? https://www.smh.com.au/world/asia/fears ... 4zdns.html
In a separate statement, Sivakumar also claimed to be fully committed to the newspaper's editorial independence. The sale price was not disclosed.
But Robertson said the ownership group "doesn’t appear to have any real interest in the media. And we have seen Malaysian investors used in the past to come into Cambodia to change ownership of various companies".
"It's very interesting the tax issues the Post was facing are all of a sudden resolved and that the former owner of the Post was singing the praises of the Minister of Information, who has not been a friend of independent media in Cambodia."
"This could be a move towards altering the Phnom Penh Post and making it much more of a daily that doesn’t rock the boat."
The Post's former editor-in-chief Chad Williams said the government may have coerced the sale.
"From the outside looking in, the most troubling thing is the timing of the tax bill's settlement and the Post's subsequent sale. The odds of them not being connected seem incredibly remote," Williams said.
"That's troubling because it suggests the Cambodian government may have used the threat of a shutdown to essentially coerce the sale.
