Interested to hear from anyone who might have a safe for sale. Big enough to take A4 documents. Tumbler or digital locking is fine.
Thanks..
Wanted to buy : Safe
I thought you had those naked cowboy pictures blown up to A3 size though?

I'm looking for one also. More for fire protection than theft. If you find any good places Ricecakes, please share. That Leeco shop on Monivong is horribly expensive, and the staff are completely useless.
Are there any good secondhand office supply shops in Phnom Penh?

you probably really want one that can be bolted to something solid and immovable, otherwise they could just take your tiny little locked safe and pick it open/smash it open. ... I'm assuming. How many people actually one that can be secured to the floor or something, especially in rented properties?

There are small safe's in many of the guest houses I stay at.
Electronic combination ones that you reset the combo on when you first use them.
They might be ok to use as a fire safe.
But you would have to make sure you secure it correctly and perhaps have a heat shield around it.

I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

I just went to Leeco on monivong and they sell very nice Korean made digital lock safes. A4 two shelf safe was $148. It was very well made and had two anchor bolt points at rear. I'd probably just mount it into a cupboard with the thread inside the safe. They'd then have to smash the entire wardrobe to bits.
Rated R for Ricecakes

There is a 2nd hand shop with many safes on St 107, between Sihanouk & St 214, it is an old metal shuttered place on the left going up toward St 214, the whole front opens up - safes are clearly visible, also shiny bicycles parked out front. No idea of the prices - also a haven of branded sound gear speakers from Bose + up from there ...

Be careful with those, I have one, bought it about six years ago, changed the batteries about two years ago and they started leaking afterwards. Now somehow the electric circuit is broken and the safe won't open, actually the keyboard hardly responds, even after cleaning and changing the batteries. So if you choose one of those, make sure you check the batteries once in a while.ricecakes wrote:I just went to Leeco on monivong and they sell very nice Korean made digital lock safes. Next time I'll choose one with a key.
