I live in Phnom Penh, and am working in managment for Purapool.
We build swimming pools throughout Cambodia. We can build any size or type of swimming pool, but we specialize in copper-ion pool filtration. That means the pool water doesn't have to be drained, requires no chemicals (other than PH dosing) and is safe to drink.
We also build chlorine pools, salt water pools, saunas, and hot tubs.

Do you have portable purifiers, for above-ground pools/paddling pools like these ?

Hey, sorry it took me a while to get back to you. I couldn't access khmer440 for about a week or so for some reason.
We get our calcium chloride from Orrusey according to my engineer. We do sell chlorine in bulk, and we build above ground pools.
Here's some of our work.

You can drink the pool water? What if someone just accidentally urinated in it before you, is that still safe?

Who Gives a Fuck?
You know nobody ever pees in the pool on accident. We do it because it feels so right.hanky wrote:[

Specifically urea contains enough ammonia and nitrogen to make it sterile. So yeah, it'd still be safe. Not that I'm recommending drinking pee.
I'm just sayin' it's an option.
You mean like if there's no cold beer in the eski, you might consider drinking the water from the pee'd in pool?lode wrote:You know nobody ever pees in the pool on accident. We do it because it feels so right.hanky wrote:[

I've never though of that option before...
Drinking urine is not recommend as it will kill you if you drink to much. It maybe sterile and good for jelly fish stings but the reason you have kidneys is to take all the poisonous stuff out of your blood and flush it out, the urine contains these poisons. So drinking it is not recommended.lode wrote:Specifically urea contains enough ammonia and nitrogen to make it sterile. So yeah, it'd still be safe. Not that I'm recommending drinking pee.

Discovery channel, survivor man and Man vs Wild. Might save you from drinking pee.
I cannot confirm nor deny that until I have anecdotal evidence of someone here drinking their pee.dv8inpp wrote:

I'll even chip in $5.
