Looking for Bread Making Machine & Ingredients
Anyone knows where to buy a bread making machine? And also ingredients?
Anyone with experience to share?
Thanks.

I have seen bread makers at K-four in Sorya Mall. You will be able to find the ingredients (flour, yeast, butter/oil, eggs, milk, sugar) at any supermarket in town, but this being Cambodia you will have to search the aisles as the ingredients aren't always where you would expect to find them, example - I was searching high and low for yeast at Lucky and finally found it with the cleaning products
I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
Plenty of bread makers for sale in those appliance shops around central market.
And tons of ingredients like yeast and special flours available at Thai Hout and Bayon.

I have also seen a shop with several large dough mixing machines and baking ovens. The problem is I cannot remember where it was.
I think the OP is talking about something like this for at home, not commercial products...Duncan wrote:I have also seen a shop with several large dough mixing machines and baking ovens. The problem is I cannot remember where it was.
I've never used one myself, but I think they do everything from kneading the dough, proving the dough and baking the bread.

They are pretty cool devices. Never used one myself, but my mum has one.
I prefer a minimalist approach to cooking, and at a pinch can make do with a mixing bowl, a gas hob and a skillet. Flour tortillas, pitas, chappatis, crumpets and english muffins.

Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you men.
I love baking bread, can't beat fresh bread still warm from the oven, but I've never tried making my own crumpets or English muffins, might have to give that a try next time I'm back.

Like everyone else that have bought a bread making machine, you are going to use it for one or two months, and then get tired of it. I have one, but have not used it in years (because it makes almost the same bread every time, and it's still some work to put all the ingredients inside. The machine makes the bread, you have to do the rest.
sorry for my poor english

Thanks, everyone. Yes, am looking for a home machine.
Exactly my concern about buying one, and then using it only for 1 to 2 months . Aren't there suppose to be a zillion recipes you can try on the machine?
Mr. Cool, any plans to sell yours? or better yet, lend it to me for a tryout .

I'm in the same boat. Bought one years ago and gave up with it in 2005 when I found out you can actually buy bread in PP.
If [ OP ] nick9981 wants to contact me, after he has made 10 post on this forum, I will donate my bread making machine to him. [ A free xmas present ]

Just make some rice cooker bread. Here is a link - http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Rice-Cooker-Bread . It is amazing what you can make in a rice cooker - bake cakes, soups and makes great mash potato. another link to rice cooker cooking - http://www.buzzfeed.com/arielknutson/su ... ice-cooker . Buy a rice cooker (if you don't already have one) much cheaper and more versatile. Always try to avoid buying any single use/purpose kitchen utensil/gadget when you can buy something that does the same plus other stuff as well. That is a rough quote from a well known chef but I can't think who - maybe Bourdain??
