Kombucha Tea is now in Cambodia
I've 3 years experience making, experimenting with second fermentations, knowing how to recycle glass bottles, sanitize them appropriately. I now have about 25 scobys which is enough to make about 100 wine bottles a month.
Right now, I have half a dozen pomegranate flavored kombucha. I have another half dozen peach with rock sugar (kombucha loves to eat up the sugars).
I'm brewing with black tea, green tea from mondulkiri, jasmine, and oolong.
I've got some great flavors on the way. Im going to do a dozen raw organic ginger this week.
I also have just finished bottling the traditional flavor, which is nothing added, but it ferments again to eat up the majority of the sugars left over.
This is a probiotic drink that has been around for a couple thousand years. It actually has many more probiotics than you would find in cultured yogurt. It is highly consumed in Western countries (usually found in health stores), also very popular in Japan, Korea, Russia, and Northern China.
I am selling wine bottle sizes for $7 dollars. If you have a certain taste you prefer, please let me know. If you like it sweeter, I do a shorter 1st fermentation, with a longer second fermentation with juice. If you want to go for the super tea, tastes like an apple cider, an acquired taste, but tastes amazing, these take a week longer than normal.
I have about 50 liters for sale right now. And will have about another 50 litres ready in about 3 weeks.
Shelf life in the refrigerator lasts up to six months. This is a living organism, and will stay dormant in the fridge for a long time, while maintaining its strength and health benefits.
I'm sure some 440's are ready to pounce on this with their verbal abuse and sunday night crankiness. But anyone that is seriously interested, I am the only supplier in Cambodia.
Please respond if you have any questions or comments.
Thank you.

After Primary and secondary fermentation are complete, what is the alcohol percentage?DeanWeen wrote:it ferments again to eat up the majority of the sugars left over.

I just want to say,, the stuff is damn tasty. I just finished off a glass.
I guessed it was passion fruit flavored, but I think my buddy said it was peach.
Tastes great, smells funky.

Billy B - very small amount of alcohol. It can vary but it is rarely more than .5% to 1 % per bottle. I mean youd really have to chug the hell out of it to get any kind of alcohol induced sensation. I've never heard of anyone getting any kind of buzz from it. It is more of a health drink. And it is also amazing for hangovers. Very strong detoxifier of liver and kidneys.
There is quite a bit of information on the net. A lot of it is really positive and there are some skeptics too, as there havent been too many tests done on it. But out of the millions of people who drink it, make it part of their daily routine. I gave a few bottles to some teachers at school. Half of them now buy it up and drink it daily, the other half just wasnt for the taste, although they knew it was good for them, they weren't too interested. Some people love it, some people don't, most have no idea what it is. But it is gaining in popularity around the world. I hope to get it into most restaurants and smaller organic shops this month. Or you can just buy it straight from my house where I brew it. I can even give you a tour of the process.

I used to drink this in England. I'll have a bottle. If it's good, I'll have a bottle regularly.

Thanks to everyone from 440 who support my new Kombucha business. It's also given me a chance to meet some of the posters. Here is the next batch for sale.
I've added a second fermentation of all natural berry juice on the left. A second fermenation of organic mango fruit on the right. And organic passion fruit in the middle. Enjoy! Also have all natural cranberry juice in the front left jar, and more organic mango/pineapple fruit in the front right jar.
I only use 1 ounce of natural 100% juice for second fermentations, as to not take away from the traditional kombucha taste. The organic fruit I buy only from natural gardens in bkk1. I then cut it into tiny pieces and put it into an air tight wine bottle for an extra week. These methods have been working for me for years with great results.
The next batches I want to try are some of the more exotic fruits like dragon fruit, durian, jack fruit, and im open to any other suggestions.
Also id like feedback on the last batch of kombucha i sold to some of you. I made the last batch really strong, (longer fermentation). If you would like it sweeter, let me know your preference and I'll pull the batch after 10 days, instead of 20 days. or maybe somewhere in the middle.
Once again, any questions you have please let me know. I'll get back to you. Thanks. _ (by the way, the stuff floating on the top is the fruit)

DW, I noticed there is no contact number/address/website for people to contact you with on the label.
Might be a good idea.
