Cut the guy a break, it's the end of the month, at least he's not flogging $20 "shoe covers."
Follow my lame Twitter feed: @gavin_mac
This one cost me $375 I have the receipt to prove it, it is one year old as new with box, yes you maybe able to find cheaper but to save anyone the time and effort to chase down the great deal and get $10 batteries with charger and a good protective cover I have the whole package, like most deals the price is negotiable I will take a reasonable offer, thanks for your comments.
I have some Enron stocks I paid $50,000 for. I'll sell them to you for $1,000. Negotiable...stevecz wrote:This one cost me $375 I have the receipt to prove it,
Unfortunately, many electronics can't be sold a year later based on the price you bought it for.
There is another poster on here who is trying to sell a nice 42 inch tv at a fraction of what he paid for it a year ago, but what he paid for it a year ago is irreverent.
I hope you can understand this.
There is quite a bit of difference between selling crap speculative stocks which you have shown to be practically worthless and a fully functional late model phone.
You're (trying) to sell it used for $250 and the CURRENT price for a new one is $212, which would come with a 1-year warranty.stevecz wrote:There is quite a bit of difference between selling crap speculative stocks which you have shown to be practically worthless and a fully functional late model phone.
You are basing the price on what you paid for it, which makes no logical sense at all in this case (hence my Enron example).
Thank God you didn't pay 2 million dollars for it; I can only imagine your selling price..

Just because you paid over market price for the phone at one point in time, shouldn't affect the item's current price. Your current price should be based on fair market value ( Current). So if people would agree that something like $150 for your phone is the fair price, then it no longer matters what you originally paid.
it is still worth only as much as someone is willing to give to you, regardless of your purchase price. 1 million or 100 dollars, it wouldn't matter.
Anyone who doesn't like Capitalism is a pathetic loser. God bless the USA and no place else.
