Honda 4 stroke grass cutters for sale
Honda 4 stroke grass cutters for sale
Thought I'd make a new post as with more and more guys buying land this is handy info.
Firstly. .thanks to everyone on previous posts.
Envotech sell stihl but only had the FS250 @$680. It's almost the top model and will destroy forests. That price is cheaper than oz. They can order other models from Singapore but their sales guy struggled. No spare line. No two stroke oil. No accessories of any kind.
MLE trading sell crappy ones on display but can order YOHONO 4 stroke ($130) and MAKITA two and four stroke. They had just taken delivery of two makita 4 stroke for a customer. $300. Pisses me off because I've been in there several times recently deliberating over their crap cutters and not once have they said "we can order makita etc". The Makita looked Ok with a handlebar set up but shipped without a single cutting head. "They'll be extra. ..". Funny. . The catalogue says they ship with heads included. Also came completely unassembled so no chance of test starting. Google has no reviews on that model. Odd.
Russian Market shops only sell cheap Chinese shit. Forget it.
I was almost going to bite the bullet and get the stihl but decided to go to central market. Within minutes I found one shop who professed instantly to only selling Chinese cutters. I told him i wanted HONDA and he directed me to a shop on the corner opposite MONKOL PICH jewellery . Easy to spot with many grass cutters hanging up over the front door. I ask if they have HONDA four stroke and the owner points up. I look it over and tell him its not original and he agrees. He points to another and says this one is ORIGINAL. I'm sceptical but he gets it down and sets it next to the fake and I can tell almost immediately its the real deal. Stainless steel hex heads, honda stamped plastic moulding, correctly labeled switches, thai language labelling ( where they are made ), a HONDA stamped engine block etc. I ask him to please start it as its brand new so he rips plastic off it without hesitation or a word , adds petrol and engine oil ,primes it and with two easy pulls the thing is purring like a kitten. Google honda gx35. Holy grail batman.
$300 later I walk out with a handlebar style machine, oil,Spare line, an aftermarket line head and a HONDA bag full of goodies like strap, goggles, tools,Manual etc. One year warranty. The best retail experience I've ever had here.
Tomorrow I'm going to fuckin destroy some weeds and grass !!

Fishing line is for whipper snippers. I want blades.
Something like this
Gotta admit though, the gx35 looks pretty good. How much will you be charging to rent it out for a day?
If your into heavy scrub you can put a saw blade with tungsten tips [ about a 10 inch ] on and will cut through anything. Well that's what I have on my Shindawa.
I have a blade that came with it but I'll use line for grass. You can't arc swing and finesse a blade like nylon. Interestingly I trialed it at our villa this afternoon and the four stroke engine is vastly different to my stihl two stroke at home. So quiet and civil it almost seems it isn't getting up a full head of revs.
Nobody will be using this. My toy.

I can see in the photo you have a 3 tip blade. I'm talking about a saw blade like those that go on a skill saw .
.
Just finished three hours with the machine. It performed faultlessly. After two changes of nylon I decided to give the blade a go. It was the first time I've ever used one believe it or not. Fuck me dead I'll never use nylon again. The blade cut through everything like a hot knife thruogh butter.. including a strand of barbed wire OOPS ! Awesome finesse with the blade too. With the blade on the engine seemed to run harder too. Pound for pound the best $300 I've spent and I'll get alot of use out of this baby.the block looks great.

OK, at the risk of further exposing myself as a nancy boy, I have ask. Why would anyone spend $300 on a lawnmower and then spend hours in the heat and humidity doing landscaping when he could pay a Khmer to do it for a few dollars?

Firstly..NAncy BOy......it is a whipper snipper not a lawnmower.gavinmac wrote:OK, at the risk of further exposing myself as a nancy boy, I have ask. a) I enjoy it and find it therapeutic
b) I am a perfectionist when it comes to lawns
c) It is good exercise
d) There is no fucking way I am letting a khmer farmer use my machinery ( one actually had the gall to come up and just about demand to use it the first time I was out cutting the grass. I told him to fuck off )
e) It justifies the 10 beers i will drink after i have finished
f) Vlad's mother swims out to troop ships
claro ?
