For sale, one Honda Degree. Originally bought to try to tempt my Khmer girlfriend away from scooters and to try her on a bigger bike. Ultimately failed, she never did ride it. The Degree is an upgraded XR250 engine so very reliable. The difference was water cooling which is a benefit in the heat here. Having ridden both, there's very little to choose, roughly the same power and they feel the same too. It's the same as the NX250/AX1 with same tank and fittings but a more enduro fairing. The frame is different being a round section instead of box and is stronger and more resilient. This was more dirt oriented and is actually quite capable in the mud and on the road. I've taken it to the province on trips with my girlfriend on the back and used it daily as a commuter. It let me down one time when the battery terminal was loose and took two minutes with a screwdriver to fix. Selling because I now have 18 bikes and no room and this is a little small for me so is getting squeezed out. It's red on a white frame. It's been lowered a little and makes a very comfy commuter with a nice large seat My girlfriend can touch the ground on it so would suit smaller rider. The seat was red but had faded to an ugly pink so in preparation to sell, I had it recovered in black. I think it looks better like this and will certainly age better. I've also had the oil changed and a service and had the fork seals changed. They had perished from lack of use so she now has that brand new (will last years before needing them replaced). Headlight, brake, indicators, horn are all good but the little button for high/low beam is missing so you have to poke your finger in the hole. Kill switch doesn't kill the engine but won't let it start so is wired as an immobiliser (not sure why but it was never an issue so I never worried.) Never been dropped or crashed while I've had it and no signs it ever has. Everything is in good condition, really good for the age. Engine sounds and feels smooth, chain and sprockets are good, tyres have plenty of life in them. There's some paint chips on the luggage rack and a few where boots rub on the frame around the pegs. Otherwise it's a very tidy bike. It is registered, plated and comes with the card. Asking price is $1400 OBO. Feel free to mail with questions, etc and I can mail more pics on request. Come and see it, you won't be disappointed but no test drives without your passport or asking price in my hand. Thanks for looking.
