Hey - just a heads up:
You don't have to pay extra baggage to fly with instruments like guitars. Airlines let you take one of them as carry-on luggage in addition to your regular carry-ons. So you can always bring one guitar or similar musical instrument in its case when you fly. I've done it several times and it seems to be a universal policy across all or most airlines. You should check into it if you don't really want to sell the guitar, because you'll have trouble getting full value for it in Cambodia.
(BTW: If you want to sell it to a shop, try LINKS music on 143 just north of Sihanouk. They carry a lot of nice guitars like PRS and basses by Lakland and Warmouth, so they might be interested in having premium used stock like that. Also, they aren't Khmer so they won't just automatically try to fuck you over.)
(Oh and $600 is a good price for that guitar in Cambodia. In America the cheapest I've seen them used is $400 but that wasn't necessarily in great condition. If I wasn't visiting America for 2 months coming up pretty soon I'd probably be trying to buy it.)

How much art can you take?
Finally bought it (the Swede, not Santana's PRS) yesterday! Crisp clean sound & sturdy build.. still in quite good shape but not exactly pristine well worth the fair price-point though and it's a real beauty to boot, which you know tends to "get me in the mood to play".. yay!
Been many years vlad, just been getting back into it (after a few years of doing the workaholic thing) for the last week or so (also had a slightly-crappier-sounding China-made Epiphone lying around prior), maybe in 4-6 months should be back to my old form as far as more challenging stuff / lead guitar / riffs & licks goes. Simple rhythm no prob already. Got a bit of muscle-memory left there but the fingers need a full retraining and re-hardening to get to a reasonable pace for really cool playing, also having to relearn the freakier chords & scales out there, ie. anything more interesting than bonfire sh#t
How 'bout you?

I was thinking of selling my '58 Gretsch anniversary, but it's stuck back in UK. Long way to go to sell the thing.
Congrats!
Oh yeah, re the airline/instrument thing. Most airlines let you carry one instrument on the plane via negotiations with the Musicians' Union. I don't think all those classical musicians flying around the place could afford to leave their priceless instruments in the hands of airline baggage handlers let alone being able to afford it on their wages.
However, some airlines are playing tough. But new rules are emerging to cover all airlines (E.U.):

i personally have never had a problem, but once, the person in front of me did until she whipped out the Musician's Union info. One passenger complained of being told to consign two violins worth nearly £175,000 into the hold, while another was forced to buy an extra seat for a rare Turkish instrument the size of a guitar and a third prevented from bringing a banjo onto an aircraft.

I broke 2 LH fingers badly in an accident along time ago, never had them set properly, so had to adapt.
Also some bonfire crap and wrote some of my own stuff but no lead
