Hello,
I need to raise some money to buy a piece of land. I have:
one troy oz. gold ingots.
ten troy oz. silver bars.
a 1 kilo silver bar.
I am willing to let them go at the current spot price. All of the gold and silver was bought from large reputable dealers in the U.S.
PM me if interested.

why not juts take them to a dealer? surely they will give u market price.

I also have some silver U.S. Eagles.....but they are extremely popular and command a larger premium over spot in the market......so I would need a bit more than spot to let them go.
What year, are they graded, are they circulated and are they encased?
It's a toss up if they're worth the price for a collector or scrap price depending on the above.

a few years ago we did the same~same...
a piece of adjoining land was offered to us, but we were a bit "cash poor"...
but we had some gold oz's lying around gathering dust = ergo, we used them for the purchase...
fyi, any 'reputable' gold dealer will give you the spot price...
regarding any 'premiums' you may have paid <over-spot> in your initial purchase...
well, kiss them goodbye...
no one here will give a rat's ass whether it's an eagle, or a maple or a philharmonic...
sure, an identifiable sovereign product assists your credibility for the sale...
but no one cares if they are coins or bars = they only care if it's .999 fine...
because it will all just be melted down to make some bling...
locals care less about where/how you bought it and what you paid...
they are only interested in what they can actually wear...
i.e. show off --> on fingers-wrists-necks...
<or perhaps, of course, as some glittery accoutrements for the g.f. and/or mrs.>...
just saying...
addendum...
another friend also did the same~same a few years back...
he sold a few oz's to bump up his cash - but he only had krugerrands...
now krugers are only 22k = 8% is added copper for a durable alloy...
krugers weigh 1.09 troy oz - <91.67% Au + 8.33% Cu>...
some gold dealers will shy away from krugers, as they have never seen them in these realms...
but you can easily prove that they actually DO contain 1 troy oz. Au = to get the full spot price...
dyodd...
Things are not what they appear to be: nor are they otherwise.
