I would rather purchase a Giant then a Specialized. But its good to know they have opened up a store in PP.the_purple_turtle wrote:Specialized had just opened on 63 in bkk1. Go and drop some big cash on an SWORKS. Then some more cash on an Italian 'doctor' and get on the program.
Is Doctor Ferrari coming to Cambodia
To the OP I would spend a little more on a decent bike,as it will be much more enjoyable to ride.

I bought a nice mountain bike near orussey. disk brakes and all optionals. It's still only good for going around the Borey. Also I had to change pedals and other parts because they were junk. In total around 189$ got me a decent mountain bike but it is quite unpleasant to drive it anywhere. Some dick stole my led front light so I recommend to have any part well attached to your bike anything with a fast removal clasp will be stolen.

C'mon man! Be the change you want to see in the world - ride a bike with gears.
Mounting a fixie is no way for a man to live.

I think the point of the fast removable clasp is that you remove it before the jao does.jackrossi wrote:I bought a nice mountain bike near orussey. disk brakes and all optionals. Have you ever been in that place on 1986 - do they have decent bikes or just thousands of shopping shopping bikes?Lucky Lucan wrote:There are loads of shops around O'Russei Market. For second-hand try Psah Heng Ly or there's a big warehouse with about a thousand bikes in it on 1986. Bicycle in Khmer is "Kang".

I normally take the pump and the led lights with me when leaving the bike anywhere.jackrossi wrote:I bought a nice mountain bike near orussey. disk brakes and all optionals. Off topic... my push bike tyres seem to lose air quite fast, have to pump them every couple of weeks or so. The climate? Or crappy tube quality? Changed one of the tubes - still the same.
In terms of cycling PP has only one saving grace - it is as flat as a pancake.
It's called Sen Sok Bike Shop and they have a Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/sen.sok.bike.shop/ . The selection is fairly broad, but being from Japan the bikes have the tendency to be on the small size. I got bike from them mostly because they were close to where I live and had something in my limited price range; don't have any complaints.slavedog wrote:Have you ever been in that place on 1986 - do they have decent bikes or just thousands of shopping shopping bikes?Lucky Lucan wrote:There are loads of shops around O'Russei Market.
