Toto, The Japanese Store on street 47 had some child sized ones at the weekend, very inexpensive.

There a few bike stores in Battambong go for around $10, there are a few in SR go for between 10-$20, the PP ones who knows. Ones in Kampong Cham might go as low as $5. Depending on where you live you can kick those middle high kids off their bike home from school and take it home.
Buy him a brand new bicycle you cheap daddy. Only $70. He will be thrilled.ohm wrote:I am looking for a second hand bicycle for my 10 years old boy !
FFS ,
Jep responded to a thread when he was supposed to be in self imposed exile.
Yes,
I know I'm being a bit of an arsehole about this.
But Jep stated he would not post because of abusive PM's but continues to post.
His last excuse for posting was he had not finished his beer and was allowed to keep posting until it was finished.
Mate,
You need to address your reasons for seeking the lime light.
I enjoy your posts and what you bring to the forum.
But when you issue an ultimatum but don't live up to it, well that's just pussy talk.
Cheers and I'll buy you a beer next time I'm in town.

I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

You didn't mention how much you want to spend, or what kind of bike he needs.
If he just needs to ride to school, you can get one of those Chinese step through bikes for $40 or something. They are awful but very reliable.
You can get a new kid's bike for $70 - $100, but most of them are crap. They are caked out with suspension, gears, mirrors and plastic, basically a lot of useless shit that weighs down the bike and all likely to break.
A BMX is better, they have only the bare minimum of parts. They are nearly unbreakable, and you can do tricks on them. You could get a heavy new one here for less than $100, but you'd be better off with a second hand GT for the same price.
Mountain bikes are expensive for anything useful. There are a huge range of them around in all price ranges. A 10 year old would probably need a smaller one though and there won't be so much choice. Mountain bikes are good on the roads here because of the bumps and having to jump up on curbs etc, but I often think they just don't need all those gears in such a flat city.
There are some very nice road-bikes in that warehouse on 1986 at low prices (like $70 -$90), I'd recommend checking those out, otherwise Psah Hengly or O'Russei.

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
