No powder yet, but I did find Soymilk, 250ml, 9g protein. At the market in Aeon Mall. Brand is V-soy, no sugar added. Comes in 6-packs. Good taste.

Soy is an absolute muscle killer- avoid like the plague. Pea protein is probably the best I can think of without heading down the Google rabbit hole- no idea where to source it here. Have a word with Fredrik at the Nutrition Depot opposite the Place gym. Big Swedish guy, what he doesn't know about protein in this town is probably not worth knowing & if demand there maybe he'd import some?

I thought part of being vegan was to show how wrong everybody else is. Go on, grow from lettuce and beans.

Let's stay on topic, though. Did you try the Russian market and other dumbass places where people do their shopping? Maybe they sell beansprouts there.

The old "other scientists argue" conundrum - I'll admit it is hard to get to the bottom of who is right & who is wrong on this one :D

I'm sticking with my belief that soy is simply not good for muscle development based on casual observation of heavy soy/tofu consuming Asians, whose guys' muscles resemble those of a small teenage girl from Newcastle-upon-Tyne - and I'm probably being unfair to some Geordie lasses with that comparison! But for every hundred pansies, there is also a Hwang Chul Soon, so who honestly knows.

Anyway, back on point - seriously have a chat with Fredrik, if he doesn't know in this town, nobody knows.

Someone asks a simple question, and half the replies are just talking shit. WTF is wrong with this board? If you can't answer the question, grow up and keep your mouth shut. Vegans are not hateful people and they don't look down on others - assholes who choose to be vegan do that. As most protein is sourced from animal products, and not everyone is down with ingesting animal, it's a perfectly fair question. If you have nothing to contribute, and no interest in the answer yourself, why are you even on this thread? Get a f-ing life.
