Square it may be, but anyone know if one can - and if so how - order stuff (apparel etc) from M&S and have it delivered here?
Times they are a-changin'

Most of their clothes are manufactured in Cambodia so you will be able to find the stuff stolen by factory employees at Russian market quite easily.
Failing that they have an office in Phnom Penh Tower on Monivong - they might be able to help.

My memories of marks and Sparks were from Saturday mornings shopping with my Nan, who used to pick up her 1000 Peter stuyversant ciggies for the week and a few stories Michel's fozen bits from down in the food court travelled to on Worcester's first 'moving stairs' to the basement. I also remember the bra display. I was 26 at the time.
Another great aunt through marriage was a polak refugee from WW2 and would call it 'ah Jew sklepe' when passing on a trip down the high Street. She'd treat me to pick n mix at Woolworths, so her blatant anti-Semitism was ignored as a 5 year old.

Anything found in the markets is not stolen from M n S but are deliberate uses of old material and designs to help train new workers and at the same time off set losses. It is almost impossible to steal anything from the factories as a single worker. Although, big scale theft involving security and Khmer management ain't unheard off.
What is found in the markets is usually of a pretty good quality.
k440, something to do when you're pissed.

If you live in Southeast Asia there's really no excuse to buy and wear an off the rack (or Russian market shelf) suit from the likes of Marks and Spencer - Just get something made for yourself.
I'll remember that next time the girls come around flogging 'sexy' lingerie they steal from the factory. Doesn't do much for my wife, sadly.horace wrote:to helpNorthern Monkey wrote:Most of their clothes are manufactured in Cambodia so you will be able to find the stuff stolen by factory employees at Russian market quite easily.

What I like is the price tag in £,$,€ or ¥ which is 5-8 times what it costs here.electron wrote:Also it will say "Made in England".

Non-racial , what does that mean? What does that have to do with Marks n Sparks who were and are jewish owned! Oh , I get it.
I just followed orders! I just did whatever I wanted in terms of teaching , there were no orders and now , a year n half later , after my 6 year contract ended, I am still travelling around, on the piss, having the time of my life.
Jealous are we?

You want to use this site to repay old debts, take a break Vlad.
I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.
