Go to Sothearos just south of Aeon. Decosy is insanely expensive. I'll have to check out dfurniture. There's a place on the eastern side of 63, a few blocks south of Sihanouk that has nice furniture as fairly reasonable prices. I've forgotten the name, but easy to find.
There is a sofa shop there on Sothearos, opposite Aeon and a bit south. I have had a few sofas made there and you can get a large, very comfortable sectional made for around 500.00.........and they can make a smaller love seat for a bit less.

I like some of the stuff in Decosy, notable the bookshelves, etc. They can make many things to order -- I believe they're made in Vietnam and take about a month to arrive.LexusSchmexus wrote:Go to Sothearos just south of Aeon. I've had an item made to order locally, and Decosy was not much more money, for what I think is a higher quality.

I like Good Wood Home Designs for something a bit different, they have an office near Mad Monkey on 302 and one in TTP on 456

Solid wood furniture might be more expensive but has many advantages. Most hardwoods don't get much affected by boring beetles or termites. The stuff can last a long time, even in this climate. All that MDF and bamboo/ rattan stuff has a very short lifespan.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Keep your eyes on all the buy sell groups on FB, some great bargains to be found, especially around the time of year that foreign employed families (embassy staff etc) finish their tour of duty.
I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.

How did you lay the wooden slabs? I really like the way it looks, I would do it myself
