Invariably I end up recruiting females, as they interview better, appear more teachable, self aware and often are cheaper. But I’d never (or certainly very rarely) restrict an advertisement to one gender.
No, of course not. You are looking at it the wrong way.
I pay in around market rate, I refuse to pay males more than this just because they are male. Males often have a unrealistic salary expectations.
Salaries increase when those who are teachable, get taught and improve in their roles.
What about governors, senators?
It’s a male dominated society. There are clear female jobs and male jobs, generally the female jobs are lower. Walk into Acleida bank and check out the customer facing staff, 95+% female, the guys have the more senior, non customer facing roles.
