Good day, I want to find out what I stand to do if my school has not paid, and is not planning on paying our salaries. This has been the situation for the last 5 months. On the day of our payment we were informed we will receive 50% as the CEO opened up a new campus (he has done this repeatedly, when his old school goes bankrupt), and thus, doesnt have the funds to pay us. Our new VP who is in same sinking boat at us, whispered that the current situation will not change, with lowered percentages of wages to be paid and set dates to be removed. The contract has been breached and we are now being asked to re-sign contracts in Khmer for "work permit purposes". I don't know what to do..

Start new job and earn money from that
Leave the sunken ship
Report to DOL.
Sometimes it works.
Get as many complainants to sign as possible.
Hand deliver the report and get a name and phone number of the person who receives the doc.
Make sure they understand you will be back.
Pester them.
Get a lawyer.

Sounds like a Chinese owned school. In China many teachers have not been paid for 6 months. Go to the office and don't leave until you have been paid. Remember time is the weapon that is on your side. Don't leave the office until you get paid then tell them to shove it.
File a formal complaint with the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Education. Ensure everyone does. And stop working there!
I'm surprised people would continue working for so long without getting paid! If I worked for a company that didn't pay my salary, I'd walk off the job straight away, fk that noise!
I'm gonna assume this is one of those schools that hires people with no qualifications or experience, which would explain why the employees are scared to leave because they're worried no other schools will hire them.
You should name n shame the school so others don't get sucked into working there

I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
PSD_Kiwi is right -- you should name and shame these people. Is there an honest school in this town?

Cut your losses and move on. You will not be paid.
This happens all the time.
When a school is 2 weeks late get another job or realise you are working for free.

Get as many people as possible, including Khmer staff (put those signatures at the top) to sign a letter and ask the PM for assistance. FB is a good platform for this.
