So I can just nibble away to get it <3.99?! Not a worry.erictheking wrote: 1. Yes.
2. My employer does them in the UK and this info is then passed on to the government of the country in which I live. The checks are essential and very thorough. If I don't come up clean, I won't get the job.
3. Yes, of course. I have two qualifications certified by Cambridge (you might have heard of them, even in your world). The most recent qualification is accredited at Masters level by OFQUAL (the same level as your PGCE), the exams regulator of the UK government, and counts as credits towards some MA programmes.
4. No.
5. Every job I've ever taken has a period of probationary employment, the current one was 6 months.
6. Yes, all the time. As part of my contract I'm expected to commit to CPD, be this through further qualificatons (see 3), workshops or seminars. The CPD Certification Service defines CPD (Continuing Personal or Professional Development) as: "A commitment to structured skills enhancement and personal or professional competence’. It believes that it is important for everyone, no matter their occupation, role or responsibility within an organisation, to ensure that their skills and knowledge are up to date." Why should EFL be any different?
I don't have to report any change in my circumstances to a governing body but I am expected to demonstrate evidence of CPD to my employers and, if I don't, my performance will be reviewed and could lead to my eventual dismissal if I didn't sort it out.
7. No

3] right... so... I don't get it make. Have you got QTC or registration or not?
5] Yes but is it or is it not framed for a statutory requisite for professional teacher registration? (1point). I wasn't talking about employment probation, but an 'internship.'
6] Yes, but you are not mandated to prove this to a regulatory body (1 mark)
Mate, really. Can you see what I'm on about yet or are you just going to keep throwing up these silly diversions.
May I venture that, if you really did in your heart feel yourself to be a real professional, you'd probably not be writing at such length to defend your rather frail position in this debate?
