Well, you'd never have the whiteboard problem again.

Just go over the perm marker with a regular whiteboard marker and a bit of rubbing will erase almost all of it.

How to remove permanent marker from whiteboard?

Postby youngwill100 » Tue May 29, 2012 3:47 pm

Went in yesterday, after my fairly successful efforts with a regular whiteboard marker, to find some 'helpful' person has used an unknown light blue solvent on the whole whiteboard. The result is a light-blue board now, which is very difficult to write on. Sigh.

I heard today that aeroguard removes permanent marker from colourbond.
Aeroguard is an insect repellant.
Most solvents bugger up the powdercoat on whiteboards, well I think it is powdercoat or is it baked enamel?

Just write over the top of it with a whiteboard marker then wipe it off!

Yeah, Aerogard works well, I used to use it to clean the weigh in board of our fishing club. As mossies and sandflies don't worry me I don't use repellants. Is Aerogard available over here?

+1 tried and tested.

I've found that insect repellent with a high DEET content works - better than petrol.
