Can anyone recommend some decent schools I can apply to?
Hey there 440 members. I have been following this message board for several months but this is my first post so thanks for having me. I have a B.A. and tefl cert. I arrive to Cambodia September 10th. Or if you want to tell me what schools to avoid that would help. Thanks!

Cool. Thanks for the help douchers. Tough crowd I guess. I can figure it out! No worries.
Your post was made at 1am, and you're complaining you haven't got any replies at 8am?
I suspect the people who could help you - teachers - have been sleeping.

sensitivity is not the best of the traits you can have when you are moving to Cambodia and even worse when you trying to post on this otherwise welcoming forum.
but hey, welcome!
just a tip (besides of the obvious reason that scobie mentioned): your question is a little too general. There are hundreds of schools, I don't think anyone has that much time to give you an essay on all the schools in Cambodia. Maybe narrow it down to the town, your expectations etc. You will have better luck getting answers if you ask about specific schools. As for the general info, you said you have been reading the board for a few months, surely, you found informative threads.

Hang on. Was that drunk posting made at 8am? You prolly want to cut that out. You'll probably need to get a new handle, too, if you want anyone to treat you seriously...

You also need to improve your grammar/punctuation/usage.Falcon Randwick wrote:Hang on. Was that drunk posting made at 8am? You prolly want to cut that out. You'll probably need to get a new handle, too, if you want anyone to treat you seriously...

My post was made at 1 a.m. my time, not yours. I noticed that 39 people had viewed my thread but I didn't have one response. So, yes I called everyone one that viewed my post and did not reply a douche. Honestly, from what I see posted on this site it's difficult to take many of you seriously either. And you can knock it of with the grammar police shit too. My engrish is pretty guud. You don't know me. I have plenty of $ and don't even need to teach. Unlike most of the scabs hiding in Cambodia.

With that attitude, lowering yourself to "other's" standards, you should apply your skills to Newton Thilay, Sovannaphumi, American Bridge Institute, New York International, World International School, Hello American School, Western International School.
Try typing the word School into yp.com.kh and see what happens.
Good luck pal.
