Hi,
I'm looking for info on the general quality of universities. In management, bachelor's or master's level (I'll just enroll as high as I can get away with. I don't have a degree but I have 180+ ECTS credits). I've never set foot in a university here either, should I expect a lot of additional "fees" because of my pale face ? I speak decent khmer though. Any info is appreciated.
Thanks !
Level of universities around here ?

A number of universities teach many if not all their courses in English (well, in theory if not in practice).
I doubt you'd pay more as a foreigner. Just direct them to the fees advertised on their websites.
As to quality, see the table (and discussion) here and draw your own conclusions:

I came, I argued, I'm out
Where are you from, may I ask? A degree from a Cambodian institution is worth just about fuck all anywhere else in the world, and will leave you qualified for nothing. You'd be better served enrolling in an online program from a school based in a Western country.Fractales wrote:Hi,

I found Charles Sturt university which offers MBA courses in 2 years, 8 hours every sat&sun, and seems to offer a "real" australian-standard diploma. They have an unofficial facebook page.

They study the same theory, but fail in most cases to apply it.Scavenger wrote:Management in ... cambodia ??
is that a joke ?
The student who applies it makes the difference, not the location they study in.
I was considering doing my master's here years ago, and I asked my (university-owner) employer if he would pay me more when I got my master's.
NO.
ירי ילדים והפצצת אזרחים דורש אומץ, כמו גם הטרדה מינית של עובדי ההוראה.
It does allow you to display the nice piece of paper though, which some day may be enough to get you places in western countries.Scavenger wrote:Management in ... cambodia ??
