I've noticed more than a few enquiries about teaching English regrading resources, so I decided to start a thread on it. Maybe others can add worksheets/games (sigh, Cambodia) methodology etc.
Here is a link to a very useful set of videos, Jennifer's 20 day phrasal verb class. Very useful for pre-intermediate, but could be used for any class. She does a class act.

No, not your files, the link takes you to an .exe file which you have to install to get the files.

Hey there the name Raya I am wondering if anyone knows anywhere in cambodia/phnom penh/siem reap where they sell english teaching books, stickers, flash cards and general helpful things for kindergarten kids? I am currently getting as much as i can online but would like an actual teaching book or lesson plan guide or something really? Thanks for reading x
Do not choose "Download Now" option use regular browser mode option. "Download Now" option on most sites is invariably bollocks. Couldn't even see that as Adblock Plus was blocking it. I have Adblock Plus, host file blocking, Malwarebytes, Eset, and Christ knows what else blocking crap like thisvladimir wrote:No, not your files, the link takes you to an .exe file which you have to install to get the files.

A good website for (pirated) resources (coursebooks, methodology books, graded readers etc...) is http://vk.com/english_page
For developing your teaching and grammar skills there is http://cambridgeenglishteacher.cambridge.org/
They have a free grammar for teachers course. Living in Cambodia gets you a 50% discount on their other courses, making them a very affordable $18.
For new teachers, I recommend reading Scott Thornbury's blog https://scottthornbury.wordpress.com/
This will give you an idea of the communicative approach to teaching.
Your basic reference books as a new teacher should be either Scrivener - Learning Teaching or Harmer - The Practice of English Language Teaching. Both of which are available on the VK page linked above. Another useful book is Scrivener - Classroom Management Techniques, although I haven't been able to find a pirated version online. http://www.cambridge.org/us/cambridgeen ... techniques
