I have a Cambodian friend who seems to have a really great command of English when writing but virtually never speaks in English (we speak Khmer when together). I'm thinking it's a confidence thing and that my friend could benefit from some conversational English classes.
Does this make sense and if so are there class options for this available for purely conversation? Or is it better to go down the private teacher route and how much would that be per hour/lesson?

Classes are available at language schools but usually involve some reading and listening. Want private? I charge 35 - 45$ph depending on a number of things. Lots will charge much less.
k440, something to do when you're pissed.
