Seems kind of strange that nobody can comment on this place. I see their ads everywhere, I would assume that somebody had checked them out. But....sometimes no news is good news.

Hi,
I work for UK Tutoring Services as an English tutor. They provide private tutors to individuals and businesses within Phnom Penh.

I thought it was mainly tuition for kids? They teach everything from Chinese to Khmer to English, geography, chemistry math etc etc. Have a mixed bunch of tutors. Mainly Khmer I think.MartinWestern wrote:Hi,

I got offered a job there once. Found out by going to the customer's house, they won't tell you what it's for otherwise, that it was for a 3 yo boy who's mother was trying to get him to write more.

To be fair, you need to wait longer than 24 hours to get decent reply's nowadays. This isn't the 440 of 5 to 8 years ago.johntpartee wrote:Seems kind of strange that nobody can comment on this
It's a combination of the site slowing down, shifting of demographics and an aging readership.
Have a query about where to buy 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton and/or who serves the flakiest breakfast croissant in town...scoobz will be along shortly with up to the minute info.

Or ask a question about the Bophana fucking Film place - some up his own arse hipster will be along to post repetitively about it, despite no one ever replying.eddie blake wrote:To be fair, you need to wait longer than 24 hours to get decent reply's nowadays. This teacher sub-forum died years ago because teachers no longer make up the main expat demographic of Cambodia, or 440.

Jeez, give me what-for why don't you...disparaging the sweet innocence of the "Bophana fucking Film place" of all bloody things.scobienz wrote:Or ask a question about the Bophana fucking Film place - some up his own arse hipster will be along to post repetitively about it, despite no one ever replying.eddie blake wrote:To be fair, you need to wait longer than 24 hours to get decent reply's nowadays. Actually thanks for the reminder, this weeks schedule is out which I'll again post to the 'Announcements and Events thread'
Didn't think it was a thread that people normally replied to scoobz so I don't really understand the attempted slag.
Also, I already mentioned shifting demographics in my earlier post so you mentioning it again comes across as odd.
Must have caught you mid-tipple.

UK Tutoring Services actually have many tutors of many nationalities working for them. They teach many subjects and also cover IELTS, TOEFL etc.
A lot of their clients are long term. Ie: 3 + years so they tend to only employ qualified teachers who intend to remain in PP as opposed to backpackers. They pay well and weekly so it is really good if you need to budget your money. Like me!
