So the 2 honkies said "We need to check with the big boss Khmer managers but the offer would be $500 - $600."
So I said I do 6.25 classroom hours a day where I am now and 2 more on Saturdays and they pay me $1100
less 10% tax ... and maybe they will cut my hours next month so I only do 4.25 hours a day so then I will
be back to $800 less 10% tax
What a shitty offer or maybe-offer in a provincial city - but there are young smarties off the bus / plane every day willing
to work for eff all
An interview for a job

This is what happens when you come to Cambodia with no marketable skills. Tough luck.
I know I'm unloveable. You don't have to tell me. I don't have much in my life, but take it - it's yours.

Did TCM actually bother to read the OP's submission before leaping at the keyboard?
The Prospective Applicant has more qualifications than the job advertised calls for, which is how the PA
is currently gainfully employed at $1,100/mo., less 10% tax. Not the best deal in town, but certainly
not the worst.

No offense, but I don't think you can call a thousand dollars a month "gainfully employed." Maybe "sustainably employed," but hardly "gainfully."boozyoldman wrote:Did TCM actually bother to read the OP's submission before leaping at the keyboard?

Easily (for me anyway)! I don't party, cigarettes are cheap, rent is cheap.....and the list goes on. I usually spend less than six hundred per month.

Thousands of deadbeats have made serious money here.
ירי ילדים והפצצת אזרחים דורש אומץ, כמו גם הטרדה מינית של עובדי ההוראה.
