Cortina's and capri's stopped being made in early 80's.simon44 wrote:Completely off-topic, (well, remotely linked to word generators):
In another life, many years ago, I used to run adult sex-chat SMS services in the UK. One of the services offered was hot tips about the latest location to go 'dogging' (look the definition up - its a British thing...).
Rather than actually get off my backside to go and research the locations where this activity occurred, I used a random word generator to generate the text message sentence from 'chunks' of separate words or phrases, such as:
Tonight/this evening/later today
look out for a/watch out for a /you gotta check out this/
fat woman/ugly cow/sexy student/
blowing jobbing/fcuking/taking it up the arse/
The car to watch for is a
red/blue/black/green/white
escort/cortina/capri/metro
park in the
Shell petrol station (location), national trust car park at (location)
at
7pm/8pm/11pm
etc etc etc
I actually had about 300 people subscribe to this service at 1-50 GBP per message per day ==> 45 GBP per month x 300 = 13,500 GBP/month revenue (I shared this revenue 70:30 with the mobile network).
It was a good earner, and I often wondered how many innocent fat women in red cortinas got a shock as a hord of dirty old men dribbled all over her newly-washed windscreen......
Text messaging wasn't popularly a thing until late 90's and SMS group chat came after than...
I'm reading your message very literally, but still... I'm calling bullshit.
