OpenNet offers unlimited packages, the $24/mo 4MB package delivers 6-8MB download speeds under most conditions.[/quote]
That's unlimited downloads for $24 per month on 6-8Mbit connections? Holy fuck, Australia has worse mobile internet than Cambodia

Hi,
I'm looking at moving to Cambodia in the near future and was wondering if the information about internet access to still is still current? I day trade forex and indices so am seeking a reliable wireless internet connection to use with my laptop. I would be staying predominantly in Phnom Penh but would like the option of moving around if I wanted to. Which company currently in Cambodia has the best overall coverage and connection reliability throughout the country? Internet speed is only a secondary consideration as I generally use pending orders along with stop losses and take profit limits so instant execution of orders is not so important. Am prepared to pay more for a better connection.
Cheers

From reading a little bit online and looking at mobile coverage maps it seems like mobile 4G will work good all over Phnom penh. Is that true? At $1/GB maybe it's the only internet connection one need really?

If reliability is the top concern you should have 2 connections running at once. A wifi modem and 3G or 4G phone signal then you can switch when one fails.
Smart mobile was about 97% reliable when I used it.

Smart@home is really good value and very easy to get and set up. No installation at your house either. Plus, you can take the modem anywhere in the country if you travel and want to use your own WiFi. 54$ for three months. I stream Netflix ext no problems.Wayward Woods wrote:I’m up for renewal, who should I go with? Obviously not Sinet...
